When an online ad says "Online and store prices may vary." which is going to be higher? Especially at Walgreens.
Surely the online price is higher because it involves more work from their staff?? Free pickup means they have to go find it, ring it up, and bring it out to the car. 5 minutes
Free shipping for $35 or more means they also have to wrap it and pay shipping too, even if it encourages/requires a bigger purchase. 15 minutes, but spread over more items.
In-store purchase just means they stand by the cash register, scan the bar code, wait until the charge card clears, put it in a bag and hand it back. 30 seconds.
Are some stores higher and others lower?
Pricing is so complicated these days, even some times charging more per ounce for bigger sizes than for smaller ones.
