What can you tell just by LOOKING at a solar panel of how they're wired?

Below are a few photos of a bunch of solar panels I have (most are on lights but some are 5V USB solar chargers)

How can I tell - just by looking at them - if they're wired in series or parallel or what - so I can tell how differential shading or alignment will affect their output?

Is there a way to tell just by looking at them? Does alignment to the sun matter (probably not)?

Hopefully someone can chime in because seems like an interesting topic.

This is a response to the post seen at:

3 LOOKS like all cels parallelled but could be 2 swts of 10 parallel cels in series.

Alignment to the sun definitely matters - not sure how much, but it does.

Is the weakest panel the limiting factor?
