WET/DRY VACUUM

I would like to hear recommendations for a medium duty wet/dry vacuum to be used to clean up an unfinished basement concrete floor and cleaning out four door sedan vehicles.

Are these rated at continuous duty horsepower? Going to stores later today (or tomorrow), in time for weekend cleanup tasks.

I am thinking COSTCO, Home Depot, and SEARS. About $100.US maximum. Any review articles for reference ?

I love my little Dewalt DW500. It is battery or line powered, for $70 "reconditioned".

Obviously it lack the power and capacity of the big boys, but the portability makes up for it.

Any opinions on the RIDGID 4.5 vaccum from Home Depot ?

I know that the filters for Rigid vacuums are different than for Shop Vac and others. I have to go to Lowes for Shop Vac filters because HD only carries Rigid brand. Since Shop Vac is a major brand I stuck with it for easier availability of filters. Who knows if Rigid vacs will still be made 10 yrs from now but Shop Vacs probably will.
