I am about to install a wall mount sink I just got:
I am putting it up against a tile wall, much like in that picture. Behind the area I got a 2x8 in between two 2x6 studs. Do they put extra support insde the ceramic of the sink? I am not really worried about the wall, but I just have this bad idea that the sink will break eventually, but then again I have no idea what the intrinsic strength of ceramic is.
Any other suggestions? I was thinking any type of mild glue (even glue gun glue) might spread the stress out, but then glue can create a gap, and maybe the stress IS all supposed to stay where the bolts are.
any thoughts?
thx
