It's got to be another anti-Trump hoax.

President Trump snipped-for-privacy@hsre.now wrote in news:11cfr45$qe2u$1 @news.tcpreset.net:

Investors want certainty, not Trumpist "tariff of the day" spontaneous regulations.

Just took a peek at my portfolio. Up so far today the most ever in a single and day and time to go.

I also checked my bank. The promised $5,000 is not coming.

If you were an investor would you believe that s*it?

Jealous? Trump is not sending me $5000 so I made it elsewhere.

No one asked you that either.

So? Learn to use your kill file. I say what I want.

Yup; Markets hate uncertainty.

{ thus, Skeeter accidentally admits to being a 'no one' }

Its often interesting to see how jealousy rears its ugly head, particularly on anonymous troll accounts.

But even so, a one day gain of $60K+ ain't nothing to sneeze at either.

<EYEROLL> As if a moron like Hollowhead has any idea what investors want.

Fact is that the S&P, which represents a a much more accurate view of the overall US economy, only showed a slight gain. The DOW gets the headlines, but people in the know pay way more attention to the S&P.

The mid-terms went the way most mid-terms do, but life is [still] good here in Florida. The state government is a not quite as red as before, but it's still red, with the usual blue blotches for urban areas.

As for me, this election won't effect my life in the slightest. The red candidates on my ballot were all shoo-ins, so it was hardly worth my bothering to vote, but there were some statewide and Constitutional issues to deal with.
