Last week I ordered a 8-foot step ladder from Wal-Mart.

It arrived a couple days later but the hinge was bent. I couldn't bend it back because it was right at the rivet which connects it to the frame and there wasn't enough clearance to push it beyond the bend. I carried it back to Wal-Mart and got my money back. One would think if you're going to ship a ladder at least you'd secure its moving parts. Just some tape or a band would have been enough.I headed straight to Lowe's and bought this 8-foot step ladder instead. It's basically the same price, but with my 10% military discount it was actually cheaper. And it's a name brand I recognize.
