I just bought a house with a pool, 20,000 gallon kidney shaped, and
I bought a safety cover because I have young children. I have found
that each week I need to vacuum, there is a visible layer of dirt on
the bottom. Is this normal, I thought the cover would help keep the
pool clean? I live in the San Francisco area. snip
Welcome to the world of pool ownership! I leave my vacuum going
all the time the filter's running. The safety cover will interfere with
most vacuums' hoses, so the go-around is to remove that cover for a
portion of the pool's operation. Mind the kids. Like I said, Welcome!
Pools are a lot of work.
