I'll have to give my buddy a heads-up about those emission cops .. he had a crate motor installed in his '55 a few years ago as a retirement gift to himself. The one time he took us out for a "pleasant" Sunday drive had me wishing I'd brought ear plugs ! .. those cherry bomb things were OK back-in-the-day but just a head-ache to me now. John T.
Unfortunately for us downwind (farther east), we're "gifted" all that pollution. I guess it's a free country and we're free not to breathe if we choose.

Canada typically gets my pollution. And when I say "my" I mean "not mine" because I maintain my vehicles.
I was camping there in '88 when Kirk Gibson hit his HR off Eckersley, in the first game of the series. The whole campground went crazy.
I remember working in Venezuela. After oil put tons of money into the economy, the peasants were buying used American cars, old crap that got shipped there. And the gasoline was made from high-sulphur crude that they couldn't export. So the air pollution was terrible.
