Is leather easy to clean?

On Tunein from Florida, I keep hearing commericals for Ashley furniture store that starts, Who's been fingerpainting on the couch again?

And continuse that leather is easy to clean.

I can't imagine that. Maybe the first year or two, but certainly after a while there are pores or cracks or maybe it's not reall leather.

Is leather easy to cle4n?

Well maintained leather is easy to clean . So is most "top grain" leather which has a polyurethane finish on it - and "genuine Leather" which is generally what is officially known as "bonded leather" which is more glie or resin than leather dust. Full Grain unfinished leather is a little trickier as it IS pourous and absorbs things like oils - -

I guess the only leather "furniture" I've had has been my car's front seat, and that's always 7 years old or more. I know I stained the backseat once, maybe with rain, and I'm sure it coudl not be cleaned.

Rain? That's not where I thought you were going with that story.

Leather recliners (x2) and couch - leather interior in 4 of last 6 cars including one I switched from cloth to leather. The leather in the Mystique was rather thick and hard compared to the rest but I've never had an issue with cleaning - or wear.

Good to know. I could have been wrong in most cases.

I know some cows not too far from here and I will ask them what soft of soap they use.
