An older gentleman I know would like a smart phone. He's worriedabout losing it, though. Is there such a thing as a locator that respondsto a person clapping? I remember a gizmo called the Clapper for turninglights off and on. I thought it would be nice if he didn't have to mess withanother component to make the locator work. Any other ideas?

He could just go to itand hit a single button to make a receiver on the smart phone respond. This one is a little different. Each unitcan serve as the transmitter. It doesn't matter what's lost as long as one of theunits is in hand. People here sometimes come up with the off the wall, seemingly nuttysolutions that work. Ingenuity isn't dead.
