Are PEX tubing and brass fittings (crimp ring type) interchangeable with respect to the manufacturer? Thanks

Providing they meet the same ASTM ratings, they should.
It's my understanding tha teach manufacturer has their own ftting; or at least one uses' their own and that's due to the type of PEX. There's three types.

Probably interchangeable, but I know that Wirsbo will void any warranty if the fittings are interchanged.
Wirsbo is *not* a crimped fitting.
They have special fittings, where the tubing is expanded, then it shrinks onto the fitting.
