AFAICT, he didn't find anything, except skin.
Should there have been a written report? Is there usually or often a written report?

Well, I have my annual screen done by a dermo associated with a local hospital. And yes they provide a written report, usually at time of checkout. The hospital also provides on-line access to such info via their website.
If your dermo is a private practice, and maybe does not do electronic records, you'll have to call and ask them.

You should go to mine. She is a mid 30s blonde and runs her hands all over you checking things. You'd not get a report but you may get an erection.
I did have a thing on my ear removed and she did zap a pimple or two. They have a patient portal and I can log on and see exactly what they did.
Yeah, board certified dermatologist, not a hospital but a big practice with 7 locations and at least 100 doctors.

They write you via the portal and expect you to write them the same way, but get this: While the letters they've written me stay in the list, there is no evidence there that I have written them. There's an inbox but no outbox. I think they are setting themselves up to hide a patient's letters of concern and complaint after they fail to respond to them and the patient gets sicker.
It uses "nextgen" software, but I'll bet you nextgen lets a medical practice provide each patient an outbox too. They chose not to.
I was there aa year ago when I felt a one-inch space alien on my back that I couldn't brush off. He said it was a wart, he sprayed it with liquid nitrogen maybe, and it was gone. He also said the thing on the side of my foot for the previous year was a wart (I thought it was piece of dirt that would work its way out) and he sprayed that but maybe not enough. It didn't help. It gradually went away over 9 more months, however.
This time he spent some real time, made me get naked!

If he/she had found a cancer, they would have scheduled surgery or laser/cryotherapy. If they found something with clinical implications, they would have sent you to a GP. So... worry about something else. []'s
Nothing here either. It just goes on your "chart", a computer file these days.
