Old Lamp post rusted

Old metal working lamp post rusted several inches above ground. Post wrapped with vines. Recent high winds split post at rusted area. Thought about encasing in Quikrete but closer inspection shows the post to be in 2 pieces. Is there a way to wrap the post with a stainless steel clamp or something else easy without replacing? Thank you.

What's the motivation to fix it, instead of just replacing it? Any repair isn't trivial, will be iffy and probably look like hell.

Sure, but probably cost more than a new post and are ugly, if that matters.
