No.
When I have water in the basement, mops, towels, and ShopVac are my tools for that job.
I bought a couple at Wal-Mart this September, because of an underground sprinkler failure.
I've never tried that.
In normal use, these "sprinkler" hoses, the water is under pressure to blow out the little holes. If you just place the hose in still water, there is no,pressure .
If water in your basement is that deep, do you not have a sump to set the pump in, then sweep water toward the sump ?
