Control Panel shows an F1 fault, beeps continually and oven will not work. When CANCEL is touched on the screen, the beeping stops for a few minutes, then resumes. This pattern continues to repeat itself when CANCEL is touched. The local MAYTAG appliance repair shop says this indicates a short in the panel control and a replacement panel for this model is no ;longer available. Is there any remedy short of replacing the oven?
