I've had a Yahoo email account for years. It's not my primary or even secondary account, but it's there for stuff where I don't want to give out my primary account. In the real early days, there was lots and lots of spam emails. But, say 10 years ago or so, Yahoo put in some spam filters that worked exceptionally well. I would only get maybe 1 a month, if that. Now, about 2 month ago, I started getting 1 spam per day. It's like the Yahoo bean counters said, "if we let one through per day, no one will notice and we can make some money." Today, it's going up to maybe 3 a day. Anyone notice this? Anyone know how to stop it? Thanks, I hope the OT police don't come after me.

I just checked my old Yahoo mail - just the usual amount of spam - excluding the Yahoo Groups updates I would say it averages about one per week. I decline the "strengthen your password" crap on login. John T.
I had the same experience until I changed my password. Haven't had a single piece of spam in more than 2 weeks. Just make sure it's not a password you use or have used for another account (which may have been hacked and sold to another spammer).
