I'm the competition. I put a wreath on the front door.
I'm a little closer to them. I inherited one of those little ceramic trees with a night light in the center.
In the first photo i do not even see a house.
I did and my first thought was that I would not want to be their neighbor.
I put out a Halloween display with mostly DIY decorations. Gravestones cut from plywood, painted gray; Tyvek suits stuffed with leaves, sitting on a bench; a stuffed shirt sleeve and pant leg sticking out from under a lawn mower, etc.
Therefore, I always follow up with Christmas lights. If I don't, I suspect that there might be some lightening strikes or other such peril sent down upon my dwelling (or head).
How much of a cut do they get from the proceeds?
