If you're speaking of buying one, the cost is great. Installing is very inexpensive, you only need a few plumbing fittings and a few feet of tubing. Operation is just the cost of salt that varies by area as the other costs will. You can spend a lot less for a twin tank with a Fleck TwinFlo, 9100 or
9000 control valve. And get industry standard components and choose what dealer you want to service it, or buy the parts over the internet and fix them yourself. You can save substantial money in the purchase phase if you buy over the internet and more money if you'll install it yourself.
