Just Released - New Car features for the 2019 models.

Beginning with the 2019 vehicles, all vehicles excluding semi-trucks will have "verbal signaling". This feature will allow the driver to say commands to the car, and the car will perform them. These commands will replace the use of hands to control things like steering, signal lights, and more. Instead, the driver will be able to say things like Steer Left, Steer Right, Turn on Left Turn Signal, Turn on Right turn signal, Turn on Brights, Dim brights, Honk horn, Turn on / off Wipers, Control the Heat, Radio, and so on..... All cars will be programmable for English, Spanish, French, German, and over 20 additional languages.

They knew this feature was needed, because it will allow all drivers to drive while holding a beer in their right hand, a cigarette in their left hand, and they will still be able to type a text message on their phone with their pinkys, while they are driving, without having to use their hands to steer, operate signal lights and other items like that.

They said "This is a huge advancement for the automotive industry".

oops, I did not know this was not going to happen until 2019. I started driving like that a few years ago.

sheesh

The hard part though was learning those 20 additional languages

I assume that the vehicle went very far forward when they said that.
