President Trump just hiked tariffs from 10% to 25% on about $200 billion in Chinese imports. In other words, he just raised taxes by … $30 billion a year.
Oh, no!
The total amount we all paid in taxes last year — federal, state and local — was $5.51 trillion. This tax increase that has everyone’s panties in a twist is a rounding error.

Media and the Democrats are backing the Chinese to help defeat Trump.

Ever notice that Repubs do the same thing? Or, are you saying that they are too dumb to use tools?

No, I've never seen a MAGA hat in a China Harbor Freight store.

I've never actually seen one out in public anywhere, only on TV. I have seen a few Trump bumper stickers. Must be fools, I'd never put any controversial sticker on any of my vehicles today.
BTW, speaking of Trump hats, I see his campaign website, which I believe is run out of Trump Tower, is now selling green "Make Farmers Great Again" hats! Wow, doesn't that take balls? TRump has killed farmers with his tariffs, he's put them on $32 bil in corporate welfare (so far) which has only covered a fraction of their losses, and now he's selling those hats?
And for those that think that's all just peachy keen, that trying to mitigate the farmer's losses with govt money is OK because we're collecting it in tariffs, who's paying for that? Mostly US consumers and US companies. So, instead of real trade, with farmers selling crops to China, helping the trade balance, we have crops rotting and the US paying for part of it. If all this is worth it, then Trump needed to lay out his case for why and for why the pain is worth it, why it's going to be tough, etc. Instead he just lied and said tariffs are good and trade wars are easy to win. And now, nothing he says matters, because he has zero credibility. And he's all over the map, one day China is bad, a threat, next day he praises Xi as a great man. Questioned about that yesterday, Trump said that's his style that it's worked well for him and that right now it's working even better for the country? I sure see no evidence of it working. With China, it's obvious they are just going to keep the screws to Trump, knowing that he has an election in just a year. Xi has no elections and figures he can ride it out, that Trump will be defeated. Gee, whoever saw that coming?

I have not been out of state in a while so don't know if it is local or nation wide.
Around here there are many yards with yard signs that say "Thank You Jesus" referring to God helping Trump get elected.

It's all about supply and demand.
Most farmers are growing GMO crops smothered in herbicides/pesticides and grown in nutrient depleted soil. Who the f*ck wants to eat that toxic s*it?
OTOH, organic farmer's markets are usually sold out by noon on Saturdays.

Lying is just one of his many obvious sins that you'd think those christians would be revolted by. Lying, insults, mocking disabled people, insulting war heroes, racist remarks, always bragging.... I Wonder what they teach in those churches and what values those folks really have. I don't go to church, but I know all that is wrong.

Obviously Chinese customers, mostly for animal feed, pre-Trump. Now they are completely out of the equation, they are buying the same stuff from Brazil and other sources who use the same GMO seed and chemicals, maybe more of it. Meanwhile, here in the US consumers are still eating those same US crops. Thanks for playing, trumptard.
They can't feed the world, especially livestock, stupid.

The existence of a deity can't be proven or dis-proven.
However, it's pretty obvious the bible was written by (wo)man.
