It's the kind that makes the half-circles. Here's what I do know:
1. Once past the off-detent, the motor turns.
2. The thermostat works (open when warm, closed when immersed in ice.
3. The fridge itself is supplying power.
What's next to check?
Check the supply line to the ice maker. It can freeze if if the valve
malfunctions. You can thaw it out with a hair dryer. If it freezes up again or
you are not getting water your vsupply line valve in the frig could be shot.
