how to access electric parts of Miele S422i vacuum

My Miele vacuum cleaner S422i broke down. Want to open the part containing the motor and fuses. Two screws seem to hold the hood, but after unscrewing them I fail to get any movement in it. Any suggestion how to open this machine? Anyone has a link to an instruction manual with more details than the consumer's manual?
