Most faucet handles have a snap-on cap that reveals the screw & washer that holds the handle onto the valve stem. John T.

postimage.org looks like a better site than imgur - are there any snags to use it ? Limits or registrations or anything ? John T.

I've used it for a couple of years with no problems.

Some also have a small Allen screw that holds the handle tight against the stem. It often is positioned on the side of the handle opposite the sink for cosmetic reasons.

That plastic part unscrews or pops off

-or- there is an allen wrench type screw in the back where you can't see it.

That one is DEAD SIMPLE. With the handle raised as in the picture, notice the little half-moon relief inder the handle? Look in there and you can SEE the screw head!!!! it looks rusty - but I can still see it is a slot-headed screw. Soak it with penetrant for a few hours then buck out the screw. The "shaft" of the tap is square with a little notch in it that the screw sets into. I just replaced the cartridge in my kitchen faucet - virtually identical setup.
