I used to work for a software company before getting laid off so my salary can contribute to the CEO's million dollar bonus fund. I have a BS degree in EE and MS in CS, but as we all know, electronic engineering jobs are moving to China and software jobs settled in India. Since I'm the hand-on type guy, I like to work with my hands, I like fix cars, fix houses, knows quite some about electrical and electronics. knows a lot about computer hardware and software, and ENJOY working on home renovations -- so I'm thinking why not start a home renovation company. well, my problem is: where to start in the dead winter? I thought of installing skylight, skytube, etc to help save the enviroment. but who wants to open up the roof with tons of snow falling on you. I can do most of reno project since I've part time worked for a guy on reno projects for almost 2 years. Want kind of one-man reno projects are in demand, in the Calgary winter?
