Why did Magna stop selling MAPP® gas? Magna?s fuel supplier was buying MAPP® gas from the petrochemical company, Pétromont and Co., who will be suspending their operations indefinitely on April 30, 2008. Pétromont was the sole manufacturer of MAPP® gas in the world. Therefore, their decision to stop all operations has forced the industry to move to an alternative gas. Magna has chosen to sell MAP-Pro® gas as our alternative.Did this happen? Has someone else started making MAPP again?
