I picked up this tank at a garage sale assuming that it is a propane tank. I have never seen a tank w/a label like this, can someone tell me what it is ?
It has an adapter with a quick release, so I assume that it for a torch ?

Propane is a form of LP gas. This will help:
Looks like a 40# tank. The adapter looks like a quick connect, could be for a grill, fire pit, light, generator. I have a simila connector on my grill for the natural gas connection.
You have to check the date on it. It may be out of test.
I use the same on my generator - allows connection to either Propane or Natural Gas.
