it would depend upon the concentration of the HF. a drop of HF at 10% could be enough to want you to do amputation. exposure to 2% of total body surface area is usually fatal, as is inhalation of HF fumes.

i hate to be pedantic on this, but using HF for anything outside of a fully equipped lab is just too dangerous. the msds rates it just under playing with plutonium.
