Anyone have hands-on experience or technical knowledge of what Fedders air conditioner "24-hour timer" might be? Does it cycle the power on and off or does it just turn off or on at a specific time? In other words, what does it do?
Thank-you.
I have a Maytag portable (same as Fedders w/longer warranty). The timer allows you to set the A/C to come on up to 24 hrs in future (before you get home).
However, like most electronic cooling/heating appliances, it shuts off and everything cancels if there is a power failure.
