entitled idiots

This stupid woman on the insurance commercial complaining about how much research she did on insurance company, then when she smashes her car into a tree, they raise her rates.

GD what did she expect? A certificate of appreciation? A gold star on her forehead? How much more entitled can she be? When she was in grade school they probably gave her a trophy for everything she did, right or wrong.

Then there's the one about the woman who also hits a tree and the insurance company only wants to give her 75% of the value. Every time I see that commercial it seems like she was driving around with a car load of people, drinking and drugging, when someone dropped fire in her lap, and someone else poured booze on it to put the fire out, causing her to crash into the tree. The only good thing about it was, four seconds after she hit the tree, all her friends, all the booze, and all the dope were gone, and all she had to do was wait eight hours to air out the car, and sober up before she called police to make up a story about the dog that ran in front of the car. She's lucky they gave her 75%. She probably wanted 135% of the value, after all she has to replace all the booze and drugs she lost. Maybe she expected a pony along with a check for 100% of the value.

Every one who drives a car should know what to expect when you make an insurance claim. You're going to get screwed, your rates increase. As soon as you drive a new car off the lot, the value decreases.

Actually, 5-years is the magic number for a lot States, totally free from surcharges and non-renewal notices. And yes, it starts over, so no surcharges ever if you keep the same Company and don't cause accidents less than every 5-years. None of the TV ads nor their Agents and Salespeople mention what you're losing by switching to save a measly 10 or 15-percent, but they're happy to tell you all about the

30-percent surcharge you'll be stuck with for 3-years...after you get the renewal bill.

Only 1 unheard of Company had the Replacement Cost coverage and it was and still is only during the 1st year of a new car. Liberty Mutual has always sucked and they purposely ruined the great little Company by design with their buyout agreement. Now, like most today, they sucker people in with low-ball quotes and then hit them with the real figure in the form of an executed contract...the policy. Only then divulging that the "quote process" is based on averages, though you gave them complete numbers and information that they refused to use until you were hooked.
