I am doing some home repair work (quite a bit) and got a cheap used bostitch rn45b coil nailer for roofing and cedar siding. I know very little about coil nailers and have never used one. It looks like most coil nailers are compatible with a certain range of nail lenghts, but I cannot find any information about what guns will accept what types of nails?
In general, does a coil nailer accept any coil type nails that are within the length parameter of the gun? The RN45B says it will accept up to 1 3/4", so does that mean that I can use any coil nail that is up to 1 3/4"?
