This refridgerator/freezer has the freezer on the bottom (model BX22A2W). Water is leaking from the area where the condenser coils are on the back wall of the freezer. The water is leaking into the bottom of the freezer and freezing to the pull-out drawer in the bottom of the freezer. When the defrost heater comes on, where is the resulting melted ice supposed to go? Thanks for any advice.
Amana freezer compartment is leaking water. Please Advise!

There is a tube that drains the defrost water to a tray for evaporation ,this tube is probably clogged and needs to be cleaned.
Hi,
Evaporator coils ;)
The defrost water should go down a drain hole ( behind the back FZ wall ) and down a tube t othe tray under the fridge where the heat from the compressor helps to evaporate this defrost/condensate water. Drain hose/system is probably clogged/restricted and needs a cleaning out.
