In most manual transmissions and differentials, the level is checked by removing a bolt and feeling inside with a finger. The same hole is used to fill the unit with oil. Just pour in the oil until it is level with the hole.

More specifically, in th operators manual concerning transmission oil it shows where to chec transmission oil levels and to how to drainn then simply says top u transmission oil levels, but does not say or show where to do this There must be a tank or something but where is it located
