replying to Myhvacisdead, service tech wrote: first of all your techs an idiot. he should have used a device called a lil popper in place to protect the board. that way you wouldn't have lost three boards. get a qualified service tech in there to locate the short. any good tech has a system in place to check for shorts. simple disconnect every thing then star putting the system back together. when the short finally does pop the lil popper then you have located the short.
