Good morning, The actuator (head?) on my central heating three way valve was checked by an engineer and I was advised it needed replacement. As part of his investigation the engineer removed the actuator and, I believe, moved the valve operating spindle. After replacement of the existing actuator (he had no spare parts with him) the central heating appears very different in that even in Manual position I get heating but little hot water. I should addthat it appears to be the heating function that has failed as the pump only runs when water heating is demanded by the cylinder thermostat. Is it posible he moved the spindle to a different orientation prior to refitting the actuator? If so can you advise if it is possible to ensure the valve is in the correct position for the new actuator as and when it is available. With thanks in anticipation,
