I had a bad experience with a contractor and ended up firing him. The concrete man that he subbed out to did a pretty good job with everything except a biggie of having new concrete the same level as existing foundation. I didn't notice this until I finished tearing off old siding and moisture barrier. What can I do at this point to either repair the problem or make it where it doesn't show? I have given up on ever having a matching floor. Now I will just be happy to have the doors and baseboards line up correctly. I will be removing a large window and walling it up. Then I will remove a 32" door and install a french door probably 64 inches in width. If I thought I would get anything out of the contractor I would sue, but I know I would be wasting my time. I have accepted that I got screwed and have moved on.:)
Existing slab and new sunroom slab don't align. The new slab is about 1 to 1 1/4 higher. What can I do about this?

look for a contractor whom you can rely on..its better to be strict rather than we can be all in danger because of the damage that contractor has been caused..make sure that you as an owner should check everything i know its not that easy but its our job to do it so..
