Rooting Loropetalum - How?

I am a gardening newbie. What's the best way to root loropetalum cuttings? Thank you.

Don't really know for sure but here's a link:

bet you could take cuttings, strip off any leaves and powder with rooting compound and stick them in the dirt. Bet they grow and we both will know for next time,
