Have you tried joint care supplement, glucosamine hydrochloride (with MSM helps) to rebuild the cartrige? I didn't help my son but helps my +60 year arthritic spine (after I had to stop VIOXX that caused a couple bleeding ulcers 8-(. According to my PCP about 50% of its users are helped and there are no known drawbacks.

Ciao, Ack

Yes, I have. And no, it doesn't help. My knees are fine under normal excersise, and don't hinder my daily life. However, I don't run between 2 and 20 miles a day either. But thanks for the suggestion. Murri
