New Grass

Can anyone give me a tip on how to sow new grass without the birds eating all the seeds??

Cover the seeded area with straw.

Rent a hydroseeder, and use a heavy hydro-mulch slew. or sow the seeds, then hire someone with a straw bale shooter/spreader to come and spread straw over the seed. or sow the seeds, then spread out that organic woven fabric used to combat erosion on sloped areas. good luck, Matt
