I planted an iris garden several years ago. They were yellow, then deep red, and this year they are light blue. Anyone know what causes this? Is this typical? Cross-pollination or virus?

Iris do NOT change their colors, I've got over 300 Iris and not one of them has ever changed color. They change their color as offen as your skin changes color.
What happens is someone plants a bunch of mis named, unknown iris and not all of them bloom at the same time nor even in the same year. I've had iris that didn't bloom for 2 or more years after a transplanting and the 3rd year they have bloomed, adding more color. Right now I've got a vast arry of color from Iris blooms.
I small a TROLL.
Phishead is a troll.
Not only that, he's a regular user of magic mushrooms!!!
