I have never seen anything like them ! Where are you located? MJ
They look like they have only two wings. (Ants and wasps would have four wings.)
So, probably flies, maybe in the family Sciaridae (dark-winged fungus gnats).
NSW Australia.

Hard to tell but my guess is a fruit fly or a hover fly. BUT a pure guess.

Frankly, too small to tell. What is the problem?
They are annoying me they are sitting on my punkin and melon greenery,millions of em.
a fly I expect , perhaps something soapy ?
