Hey everyone, I'm trying to figure out the best way to get some basic utility lighting set up in my unfinished basement. It's mostly exposed wooden joists and OSB up there right now, and I just need some simple light receptacles for standard LED bulbs, nothing fancy. I'm wondering what's the recommended practice for attaching these directly to the wooden joists. I've seen a few diffrent ways, like sometimes the fixture seems to be mounted straight to the wood, maybe with a small pancake box, and you often see a yellow wire connector somewhere close.
