Someone has suggested using Acrypol for this repair. Anyone had experience of this stuff? How long would it last?

Acrypol is a grey paste with hair strands of fibreglass. It=92s usually used for repairs on flat roofs, lead gutters and valleys.
If you use it the base must be sound, no loose or weak sandy cement. When set it is like a grey hard crust.
