Re-wiring house

Dec 24, 2007 3 Replies

My sister is in a house that needs re-wiring.

Can anyone give me a ball-park figure.

House is Victorian/Edwardian, a semi, 4-storey ,4-bedroom, but a very narrow gutted workman style house in a remote part of Kent.

Thanks

Colin

Total ball park figure as electric cookers/showers, number of sockets etc not mentioned, how well gutted it is then 3 to 4 grand.

Hi

According to a recent issue of "Which" the typical UK price for a three bedroomed house is around £4000.

Just had mine done - a very similar tall 4-storey terrace- (loads of sockets, wall lights, ouside sockets, emergency lights/wired smoke alarms) for £5,000. Thames Valley.
