I have a Neff gas hob, with electric ignition. The problem is that the first time it is used for a few hours, the ignition spark keeps on sparking even after the gas is lit, even though I follow the instructions to hold the knob in a specific position for 10 seconds. The only way to stop it is to turn it off and then on again many times.
Is there a simple thing I need to check/clean etc before I call out the engineer ?
