The pump on my power shower has just failed (it's a 'Trevi 45'). I found this old pump quiet noisy, are there any newer models which are quieter? Or is there something I can do to the pump location to suppress the noise?
Best quiet power shower pump?!?

I have an aquilisa shower pump to be honest if I am showering I don't notice nor care about the noise it makes because it is only for a few minutes. The noise from the pump can often be cavitation (thrashing about of air in the pump) and this can transmit to all the pipework. Hopefully you should have used a flexible pipe as the last connection to the pump for vibration isolation to the pipework. If the noise is coming through the floor, you can buy vibration isolators to mount on the base, but these should have been supplied anyway.
