How can i stop a washing machine from moving when vibrating

Make sure it is level. Also, the harmonic balancer (counterbalance to the motor) may be malfunctioning

I noticed mine jumps around when the clothes gather to one side or if the setting is for a large load when it's really small. Maybe yours is doing the same thing.
