I’m currently refreshing my home office space (I work as a tutor, so I spend a lot of time there). I’m trying to go for an "organic modern" feel with lots of plants and natural textures.
I really want to use a large jute rug to cover the floor, but I’m worried about how it will hold up under an office chair with wheels. Does anyone here have experience with natural fiber rugs in high-traffic areas? Should I look for a specific weave tightness, or is it better to just get a plastic chair mat (though I hate how they look)?
Any tips on maintaining them would be appreciated!
