When I was a Kid we used to call these "HILL TROLLEYS" You'd visit the local tip and find an old pram and requestion the wheels. Cart them home and hunt around for some suitable timber, Fence Pickets where always in plentiful supply and if one was not just laying there asking to be used, you you could always knock a couple of from behind the shed or the gape passion fruit vine where it wouldn't be noticed for a while. Cut a piece of picket about 18" to 2' and nail to the remainder across one end. Lay the Pram wheel axle along this piece and nail in place. (Nails both side of it and bent over) The more nails the better. Cut another piece of picket about the same length and nail the other pram wheel axle to it. Get the Old man's Brace and bit and drill a whole through the centre of this piece and through the centre of the long picket a few inches in from the end. Bolt the cross piece in place, Tie a rope to the protruding ends of the axle, find the steepest hill you could and do your best to commit suicide. When it came to stopping you either slid the trolley side ways or closed your eyes and bailed of. How come I just celebrated my 48th birthday I don't know, But it sure was fun.
