OT price of scart leads

The problem is that, when I comes out in August, the prices are already obsolete by 2005

As I found out last year

...but you do end up writing down loads of things you find you absolutly must have because it is so cheap, but then when it is all added up, it is a bit shocking!

I got mine free, I had CPC call me, asking if I had recieved the 2005 catalogue, I told them I hadn'd, so they said they would send one out. It arrived the next day :-)

The fully connected 2m one is £331!!!!!

[sarcasm] I think I will order 10! [/sarcasm]

Surelly the blurb about the mains cable is total crap, if so, how come trading standards dont do anything about it?

My first impressions of The Silver PowerKordT were of an all pervading naturalness across the frequency range. The soundstage and presence of the music in the listening area was a lot stronger and more focussed. After the full burn-in period and depth of bass response increased in weight and tunefulness. The top end was wonderfully seamless and natural without any sense of brittleness.

Burn in period, on a mains cable - WTF!!!

I thought that the oak feet were quite good. I reckon that there is about 5p of material and 2 minutes work in each. Nice margin.

God, you're so cynical.

I use one of these on my kettle and Typhoo tastes like ambrosia.

After the burn in period, of course.....

And "I bet" he finds nutters who will pay that!.

Good luck to him if he can, and more fool them, but perhaps they know that but don't want to recognise it;(.....

Dress up in a suit and call yourself a "consultant" and do some work for the guvverment, especially on guvver-mental buildings where hot air is spouted, and you'll be a rich man my son;)(

Because I expect that most trading standards officer's are pretty down to earth people and know that their are wallies around who will pay for it, and no law is being broken, is it?.

Apart from that I suppose it gives 'em a larff:)

Nobody ever went bust by underestimating the stupidity of the general public.

I expect no-one's reported him. Anyone with a brain wouldn't touch this junk with a bargepole, and anyone with a brain is delighted with the stuff.

I wonder how much the catalogues (at 2,700 pages - 6.2lb in weight) cost to produce and post?

I've spent around £100. I received the 2004 catalogue and then a few days later received the 2005 catalogue. I didn't not pay up front for it.

The old catalogue has already gone to a good home:)

Perhaps it was under rated for the current and now is a black carbon colour.

It must be frustrating to get a new cable and then have to wait for the burn-in period to elapse before it sounds at its best.

One would think they'd offer the option (for a very reasonable supplement on the invoice) of having a pre-burnt-in cable sent by overnight delivery.

I realise this would be a compromise as the crystalline structure wouldn't be properly aligned with the listener's local geomagnetic field, but some people just want instant gratification at the expense of quality.

I got the same effect after having my ears syringed - it was free on the NHS - LOL!

They already do that for a mere 15 quid per cable
