Bolts - name of

What are those bolts called that are generally used for fixing things to, say, masonry / concrete in blind holes.

They're like a sheath over a bolt. The bolt withdraws up the sheath as the nut is tightened, spreading the sheath in a similar fashion to rawlplugs - kind of like a rawlbolt I suppose, but with a nut pulling the bolt outwards to tighten the fixing.

Hope that makes sense, I'm sure I'm missing vocabulary!

They're called rawbolts, as you said, or at least, the branded ones are.

Googling rawbolt suggests 'shield anchor'

Awesome, thanks guys

I did do a quick Google for rawlbolt, but only saw actual bolt versions rather than-nut-onto-threaded-shaft versions. A second look did show me what I'm after.

Thanks again.
